They can greatly
facilitate the renovation of rooms, so it is worth getting them. Modern accessories and tools for wall
painting were created in response to the needs appearing during the renovation
work.

Accessories and tools
for painting walls
Hard to reach places,
large surfaces or high rooms often cause problems when painting walls. For this reason, it is good to replace
the classic brush with more sophisticated painting tools. Many accessories will greatly simplify
our work and make renovation work much more efficiently.
Painting walls without a
ladder
To apply paint on even
walls, it is necessary to reach the ceiling very high. In order not to use the ladder, it is
enough to equip yourself with a long boom, on which the roll holder is applied. The most convenient is to use
telescopic solutions. By dividing
the bar elements and locking them with a ring, we obtain any length. We find equipment that allows painting
even walls with a height of 5 m . Extension
booms for tall rooms can be 6 m long and the handles placed on their
ends are designed for comfortable grip with both hands, which allows you to
precisely operate the roller. Thanks
to such a solution, it is much easier to paint the walls without moving the
ladder and climbing it.
Paint without can and
tray
Dosing the paint while
painting walls can be cumbersome, it requires careful scooping it on the roller
or brush, so that it does not drip and as little as possible dirt around the
can or tray. The paint pot must
also be moved, worn and sometimes placed on a ladder, controlling that an
unstable position will not spill the contents. To solve this problem, paint rollers
were created with a paint feeder. The
handle has a paint container, which is dispensed successively in an amount
sufficient and not allowed to drip. The filling system consists in sucking paint
from the container into the rod. The
roller is filled with paint thanks to the piston, which is activated by
pressing a button in the handle. Single
impregnation allows you to paint up to 13
m² of wall. The tool not only allows much more
precise and faster painting, but also more economical. For convenience, choose an electric
roller, which itself soaks with paint.
Painting hard to reach
places
Special tools are
intended for many nooks and crannies. For
example, we can find precise brushes or a set of triangular accessories to the
corners of the walls. In the
place where the walls are joined, narrow, round brushes with a long bristle
will also be useful, which fit into the gap and distribute the paint evenly
while rolling the wheel. Rollers
with a paint feeder can also be equipped with a tip enabling the painting of
corners, bevels and other corners. For
example, a three-position, movable head placed on a telescopic boom will be
convenient.
It is also difficult to
paint the wall behind a central heating radiator. To reach such hidden places you can
use a narrow, long, flat, curved brush. Although
it is intended for painting radiators, it is also ideally suited for wall
covering behind a radiator.
Rolls for special tasks
The larger the surface
of the wall, the chosen roller should be wider. Rollers with short fleece, i.e. those
with bristles of 6 to 9 mm ,
are designed for applying thin layers of paint and painting smooth surfaces, i.e.
coated with finishing, finished with plasterboards or made of plywood or metal. A long fleece with a length of 1- 2.5 cm will facilitate the painting of
plastered walls, lined with wood or structural cladding. Under the ceiling and on the floor,
rollers for equal cutouts will be useful, i.e. equipped with a limiter
facilitating the construction of belts. In
order for the paint to not run down it is good to purchase a roller with a drip
cap. In order to obtain
interesting effects on the walls, even chamois or sponge shades that give a
specific pattern or texture are used.
Spray painting
The fastest way to paint
the wall using a special hydrodynamic aggregate, which allows covering with 4 m² of paint in just a minute. It gives excellent and uniform coverage. However, this method of painting
requires a lot of practice.
